Oldie, but Goodie

I learned this little trick from my father years ago. If you got a screw you are having trouble getting into a hard piece of wood, just scrap the threads of the screw across a bar of soap. It will help lubricate the screw and will go in with little effort. I use this trick when my battery runs low on my drill and I need those few extra seconds to get that last screw done.

(P.S. a little spit will work in a pinch too.)
