Staying Sharp

Here is a quick tip for saving a few bucks on Xacto knives.

When the tip on a blade starts to get dull we usually just replace it with a fresh one, but you can get a few more cuts out of that blade. Just take a pair a pliers or clamps and snap the tip off of the blade. It will cut like a brand new blade. You can do this several times if you don’t snap too much off at a time. Works with utility blades also.

CAUTION! Be careful when snapping the blades and disposal of tips.
